For battles with front and back hero rows. Do not apply the same figures directly to march combat.
Where should Alita stand?
Alita is an Aeronaut X-SSR hero with area damage and a critical stat increase at the start of battle. A back-row position lets her attack while the front row holds. Moving her changes which positional pet effects she receives.
Chompy or Starhorn?
Consider Chompy for critical support and finishing weakened enemies. Starhorn is a candidate when you want front-row defense and more attack for Alita in the back row. Starhorn’s opening buff lasts 10 seconds.
Which Aeronauts can join her?
One starting lineup puts Tony and Mike in front, with Alita, Kiki and Wright behind, alongside Starhorn. It supports front-row defense and back-row attack. Five Aeronauts give a 25% same-faction HP bonus.
For a Mariner mix, try Shark and Tony in front, with Undine, Alita and Kiki behind. Check the same-faction HP, Mariner adjustments and extra counter bonus separately.
X-SSR heroes (Lava, Furiosa and Alita) do not contribute Star Points to Faction Enhancement. The game calls them Season Heroes in these rules.
Back-row damage: 5 Aeronauts
Front-row defense and back-row attack can buy Alita, Kiki and Wright more time to attack.
Mixed: 3 Aeronauts + 2 Mariners
Shark reinforces the front; Undine supports the back. Starhorn adds front-row defense and back-row attack.
