Alita

Alita has dozed off again beside a pile of parts in her basement workshop. She was born into a wealthy family, and her father runs an AI company. Since her mother passed away, he has raised her on his own. However busy he was, he always granted his daughter's requests, no matter how odd. That is how Alita ended up with a basement workshop of her own, crowded with broken robots and old robotic arms.

Alita hated homework. She found the problems boring and thought solving them was a waste of time. Behind her thick glasses, her eyes were always heavy with sleep, yet the corners of her textbooks were crammed with sketches of rabbit mechs and bizarre weapons. She loved mecha movies and clever, mischievous rabbits. So she put old parts together and built 'Bad Rabbit No. 1', complete with enormous rabbit ears. Every time this big, round mech powered on, a few screws would pop loose. Alita had been waiting for an alien monster invasion, but the attackers turned out to be the Infected. She climbed into the cockpit and hit the start button. The rabbit ears slowly rose, and the mech lurched toward the horde of Infected. "So sleepy... Let's take care of these bad guys first."
